Milli Vanilli was a German duo R&B music act from Munich. The act was created in 1988 by Frank Farian, founder of Boney M., and consisted of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus as the lip-syncing performers, with the two actual main studio singers, Brad Howell and John Davis, and studio singers Charles Shaw, Jodie Rocco, and Linda Rocco, with an unrelated touring band.

Back in the late eighties I used to play Milli Vanilli's songs on my car audio system up loud. I used to really like their sound including the bass on their songs which was rich & solid. I still do enjoy their music regardless of the lip sync debarco which destroyed the band. The music is still good whoever it was actually singing on their songs & the 2 lads were still great entertainers/dancers and for the ladies, easy on the eye, so they did their job with attracting a huge following of fans at that time. The whole thing should have continued as they were popular and their music really good. A sad shame that it didn't.
